Back in 2012, Liu Qian sought a deck that would “obey his every command”. He collaborated with Si Scott, designer of Smoke & Mirror, who used a dip pen to draw a silent chameleon — the original SPAR, a sharp weapon for magic.
Thirteen years later, Liu Qian teamed up with designer Lunzi to bring this chameleon to vivid life.

The unicycle-riding Joker features two stacked chameleons forming a whimsical balanced composition. Its long tongue coils around the 3 of diamonds, hiding subtle creative details on the card face.
The chameleon serves as a metaphor for magic, embodying the essence of disguise and illusion.
